Find your passion

What are you passionate about? Do you love horses & the outdoors, enjoy running, singing, knitting? What will do even when others think it's silly? What will you talk about with such depth and enthusiasm all your friends want to join you?
It's dancing for me. I LOVE to salsa dance and will go out at least twice a week. It's not about the club or the people, but about the music and dancing. No matter how tired I am - I go for hours at a time! It energizes me - I can't sit still! There's that silly, stupid grin that stays on my face the whole night. And last winter, that was all I did - no other workouts for me! Ask me where the best party is, I'll probably know!
This year I decided I'd like to see more definition in my body and slim down. So I've had to temper my dancing (3-4 nights a week at that time), so I can get up at 5:30 to go workout with my workout buddy, Johnnette. We ran a half marathon earlier this month with only a month of training. I chalk my fitness up to not only all the dancing, but to the training we have done in the gym. Our goal is the Disney Marathon in January. We have been discussing getting fit enough to enter a show.... That's more of Johnnette's desire, but why not see how disciplined I can go??
I love the way I feel when I'm out dancing and when I'm out running and when I'm in the gym. I feel alive, vibrant, and, I'll admit it, sexy!
It takes some discipline, planning and motivation to keep going. If your WHY is big enough you will do what it takes to get there. Ask yourself: What am I passionate about?
