Started off today training a client outside at her apartment park - PERFECT weather - sunny and a little cool. Having kids around to pick up and carry off equipment between sets - FUN, really :-) It brought out the moms who want to get fit, too! And when they see the fun exercises - swinging!! tossing beach balls!! climbing the jungle gym!! - Who wouldn't want to get fit?
Then, off to the Bethesda Health Fair to volunteer for Team in Training and Light the Night - it's two programs to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Talking to people there and hearing their stories, makes you want to do more. And did I say the weather was GORGEOUS? Just beautiful - not too hot, not too cold & sunny. The other vendors were fabulous as well - wellness coaches, nutritionalists, other cancer groups, physical therapists & activity groups. A nice bunch of people. A great way to spend the afternoon!!
Now for a little rest and some good food, with my cat, Bub, helping me to write :-)
